When compared to other national parks in India, Corbett National Park is only national park in India which allow more than 120 Jeeps for Jeep safari in any slot (Morning or Afternoon) Apart from Corbett nearby forest also allow more than 260 jeeps for jeep safari so when booking your jeep safari make sure you are choosing right safari zone where there is good movement of wildlife (tiger elephant and its prey).
There are few zone which has good presence of sloth bear, tigers, elephants, leopard while in other zone sloth bear are rarely spotted. I’m not covering jeep safari in Dhikala zone in below detail as jeep safari for Dhikala is only possible when you are staying inside Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park. One can explore Corbett National Park by jeep and canter, canter are only allowed in Dhikala zone while jeep is allowed in all safari zones.

(A)Important Points About Jeep Safari
- Around cost of jeep safari for 4 hrs is Rs.6900 to 8000 per jeep for one time.
- Permit for indian national shall cost around Rs.3500 per jeep
- Guide fee is mandatory which is around Rs.900
- Jeep and driver service charges vary from Rs.2500 to 4000 depends from jeep condition and driver experience
- In case you are taking help of Tour Operator they may charge service charge of Rs.500 to Rs.1000 on above cost for taking detail, choosing zone , booking permit on booking day sharing driver detail and coordinating for jeep
- Advance safari booking opens up 45 days in advance for dates between 1st oct to 15th June
- Above charges are safari gate to safari gate some operators offer complimentary pick up and drop from resort
- In a jeep 1 guide + 1 driver and 8 guest members (6 adults and 2 children of age below 12 years) are allowed
- Price remains the same for 1-6 guests.
- One time jeep safari will allow you visit only one zone means your entry gate of safari zone and exit gate of safari zone will remain same
- At Corbett officially there is no option for sharing jeep safari
- In above quoted price jeep will pick you from resort and drop you at resort
- Only limited permits are allowed to book for any particular zone
- From resort-to-resort safari duration will be around 4 hours
- These all jeep and their driver, guide are registered with Corbett tiger reserve
